• Appointed Co-Director and Ballet Mistress of the Ballet Kiel.
   
• Continuing a master's degree program in arts and media management, at the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga, Latvia.
   
• A member of the board of trustees of the "Stiftung TANZ – Transition Zentrum Deutschland" a foundation which supports dancers' transition.

• Publications: Foreword to Rebecca Hoppé's book of photography, titled "Ballet" and an article in the book published for the 50th anniversary of the Hamburg State Opera Foundation.
   
• Summer 2009: Teaching at the Companhia de Dança do Algarve in Faro, Portugal.
